We humbly place before you the Traditional Pasty - A culmination of over 100 years of pure Yooper tradition. It's our labor of love, presented to you in honor of those who created it. Our Traditional Pasty was born from our family homestead roots in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (da UP), and stays true to the Old-World recipe, just the way Grammy made it. This pasty recipe orignated from the West Country of England,was carried over to America and handed down through the generations by the folks who settled in the UP, and is the same recipe that fed the strong iron miners of Michigan! Our flakey crust encloses a ton of fresh, locally sourced Angus beef, fresh cubed potatoes, rutabaga, and fresh diced onions and carrots.
